Please read carefully. If you have any questions or issues with the below list of instructions or qualifications please reach out to Claire at (805) 232-3522
- Do not wax, tweeze, thread, trim or tint eyebrows at least 2 weeks before. It is preferred that you let your brows grow out as much as possible. I will clean up and shape your brows at your appointment.
- If you usually fill your brows in with makeup, feel free to come in with them done however you usually do. They don't need to be perfect, this just helps me get a better idea of what you're used to.
- No chemical peels, glycolic acid, AHAs, exfoliants, retinol, retin-a, microdermabrasion, laser treatments, facials, botox, fillers etc near the brow area for at least 2 weeks before the procedure.
- Do not take Omega 3, fish oil, vitamin A at least 2 weeks prior to appointment. (If needed please consult a physician)
- 24 hours before appointment: do not have any caffeine or coffee, alcohol, take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E, ibuprofen, or other blood thinners. (This will cause excess bleeding and may affect your results) (if your doctor recommends/prescribes anything that thins the blood, please do not stop taking it, this procedure may not be for you)
- Do NOT tan at least 2 weeks before the procedure. (If you get a sunburn we will need to reschedule your appointment, please keep in mind that our cancellation policy still applies)
- You will have to avoid makeup on the brows, sweating, direct sun exposure, and water on the brows for 1-2 weeks so plan your events and vacations accordingly.
- Women sometimes experience hypersensitivity and more pain around their menstrual cycle.
- We will not be able to tattoo over any blemishes, sores, moles etc. (if you have scarring in your brow and you would like that tattooed, please set up a zoom consultation with Claire)
